A Show Cause hearing is a proceeding where a driver is called on to show cause why their driving privileges should not be suspended — commonly arising from outstanding debts to MPI, safety concerns, or issues with a driving record. The outcome can mean the difference between keeping and losing the ability to drive.

• Preparation. Reviewing the notice, the basis for the hearing, and the evidence MPI intends to rely on.
